LoveUkraine - February 24

Thank you to the many that have reached out to us and our church families in Ukraine. I apologize I have not been able to return all of your texts and calls yet. I have been up most of the night on calls with our Ukrainians who were wakened from their sleep from the sound of explosions.

The overall feeling is concern, prayerful watching, and continuing on with their lives as best as possible. I’m sure many of you are abreast of the news of what’s happening in Ukraine moment by moment, so I won’t attempt to do that now.

I’ve just gotten off the phone with all our pastors in Ukraine and they are doing well. There is an overall peace in their hearts - our church in Lviv is coordinating with their local authorities on how they can help with refugees arriving in western Ukraine. Our church in Odessa has gone out to parks to share Christ praying and comfort people. Many of them have begun onliner prayer meetings. All our churches see this as an opportunity for the Gospel in Ukraine.

My plans remain the same to travel to Ukraine after EuroCon to be with our people there on the ground.

Please continue to pray for Ukraine and for the people there. Things are going to most likely worsen over the next few days if there is not a change in the trajectory of diplomacy.

Many have contacted us with the intent to help with resources for those that are being impacted by the conflict in Ukraine. If you’d like to help financially you may give online to the Ukraine Fund we’ve created online via EverGrace church here:

Thank you and God bless you.
